The MP1517DR is a 3A fixed frequency boost converter, ideal for use in medium to high current applications such as boost, flyback, and SEPIC. This device can regulate the output voltage up to 25V and offers an efficiency of up to 95%. It features soft start, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and input under-voltage lockout to protect against overloads or damage to external circuits during startup and short-circuit conditions. Additionally, the MP1517DR employs current mode regulation and requires external compensation components, enabling the optimization of its control loop across a range of input, output, and load conditions.
